Carnosine is a powerful, naturally occurring polypeptide that has been shown to have profound anti-aging benefits. There is a growing body of research to support this fact. For example, a series of experiments conducted at an Australian research institute showed that Carnosine actually rejuvenates cells as they reach the end of their cellular lifespan.
But the question is whether or not this effect extends to the entire organism. A 1999 Russian study indicates that it does. Researchers tested the effects of Carnosine on the lifespan and indicators of aging in mice. Results of the study were significant, and the researchers concluded that “carnosine-treated animals can be characterized as more resistant to the development of features of aging.”
While Carnosine is available in large quantities in the brain, muscles and other tissues, it does decline with age. Fortunately, results from a recent LifeWave study show that our Y-Age Carnosine patch can significantly affect the bioelectrical properties of the body. The study tested organ status, with results showing a very significant (p < 0.5) improvement in the functional status of the pancreas, liver, right kidney, left and right adrenals, hypothalamus, pituitary and thyroid glands with an average statistical power of at least 95 percent.
